Guessing Box

Materials:

Oatmeal box

Stretchy stocking

Directions:

Insert oatmeal box into stocking.

Position the stocking so that the opening of the sock is 3-4 inches above the top of the box

Cut off toe of stocking.

Use a running stitch around the cut ends of the stocking and pull tight. Or glue ends of stocking to bottom of box.

Glue a circle of felt to bottom of box (optional)

Put small objects in the Guessing Box for children to pull out. These objects will remind you of a story or be used to make up a story.
